Fair Recruitment is a recruitment agency providing services in the recruiting and consultancy, operating on the basis of an entry in the National Register of Employment Agencies under number 18870.

For our client, an international company from the railway industry, we are looking for an employee for the position: RAMS/LCC Engineer

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

  • Reading and evaluation of customer specifications before project start (e.g. standard requirements)
  • Examination and commenting of RAMS/LCC related points in customer requirements or CBCs (e.g. conformity to standards)
  • Document creation based on our templates for the following areas (proof of compliance with given standards or specifications):
  • Calculation/determination of failure rates of product components
  • Preparation of plans for the fulfilment of customer requirements regarding product
    Reliability/availability/maintainability/security
  • Creation of calculations for product life cycle costs based on maintenance cycles
  • Preparation of reliability analyses
  • Preparation of error impact and risk analyses
  • Preparation of hazard analyses according to various common procedures
  • Creation of fault tree analyses
  • Creation of security documents
  • Continuous maintenance of RAMS/LCC related internal databases
  • Document storage in the company internal system
  • Conference calls with customers

  • Occasional customer visits to collect and evaluate RAMS/LCC relevant information (worldwide customers, about 0-3 times a year)

  • Consulting support for internal departments on RAMS/LCC related questions (e.g. on documents listed above or various standards)

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Preferably MSc or technical school graduate
  • Completed training in a technical apprenticeship (metal or electrical engineering; electrical engineering or mechatronics would be an advantage)
  • Professional experience not mandatory but an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of data processing (routine handling of MS Windows), experienced knowledge of MS Office or in this respect good learning ability, especially MS Excel & MS Word
  • English in spoken and written (any other language can be seen as an advantage)
  • Both logical- analytical and pragmatic thinking skills
  • Problem-free handling of numbers
  • Precise, structured work
  • An uncomplicated and friendly basic attitude based on mutual appreciation is desired
  • Willingness to compromise
  • Solution- oriented
  • Willingness to learn (in the sense of ’learning by doing’)
